This mural made for Swarnim Sankul, Gandhinagar, the Honourable Chief Minister's office was our take on a local festival. Interior Design was done by HCPIA. This is a larger-than-life space that served as a corridor for elite guests meeting the H'ble Chief Minister. We visualized the Ahmedabad skyline on Uttarayan, a festival that is synonymous with Ahmedabad’s culture and vivacity. While the skyline remained in the background, the kites are shown in motion. Traditional textiles sewn onto wire frames formed the kites which were then placed on a skyline printed on canvas.
